Schuco is the biggest name in aluminium fabrication and aluminium window and door systems. Their ASS 70 FD bi folding door is one of the most popular on the market for its slim sightlines, high levels of engineering and robust profiles.
You would expect to pay roughly £1300 per pane for a Schuco ASS 70 FD bi folding door. For example, if you had a three-pane bi folding door the cost would be approx £3900, if it was a five pane bi fold door it would be around £6500.
The Schuco ASS 80 FD has a deeper profile and a slightly slimmer sightline of 112mm instead of the 120mm available from the ASS 70 FD. This is a more expensive bi folding door choice at approx. £1600 per pane.
Our own aluminium system Sieger includes a very minimal bi folding door (in fact the slimmest frame bi folding door we offer) at 94mm sightline.
A slimmer sightline helps ‘bring the outside in’ even when the bi folding door panes are closed. This makes internal living spaces seem more spacious and fills them with natural light.
This bi folding door system is approximately £1400 per pane and is available in bi folding configurations of up to six leaves folding in one direction. You can create larger bi folding door installs by have two stacks that bi part and fold away from each other.
