You can create long clear elevations of glass balustrading all thanks to the Sieger® balustrading system. The aluminium base finish is available in three different configurations depending on the area of installation and the line load requirement for the project.
The glass within the balustrade system is toughened and laminated for the highest level of strength and durability. The minimalistic handrail at the head can be finished in a range of metallic colours including stainless steel and bronze.
The base fixing is able to be fixed to the edge of a slab or level change for a frameless design or can be fixed directly on top of the structure. Integrated drainage is also available.

The Sieger® glass balustrading system is fully tested and certified as a high-performance barrier between level changes. The modern glass balustrade design is available with line load capacities of up to 3.0 kN, making it suitable for even the highest traffic projects and locations.
Toughened and laminated glass is used within the glass balustrade. This makes the glass panes very strong and able to withstand high line loads, concentrated loads and UDL loads.
You also have the choice between standard clear glass or low iron glass for an extra clear glass design.
You can visit the Sky House Design Centre in Amersham to see the Sieger Balustrade system in person.
The glass balustrade system is installed within the UK's largest architectural glazing showroom with a selection of balustrade types on show.
Here low iron glass is shown directly next to standard clear glass for you to select your preferred visual appearance. In addition, two different glass specification are on show, offering differing deflection rates. It can then be the client's choice as to what glass specification they prefer.
